custom labels - 4/10/2013 11:37:26 AM    beckytipton   Posts: 3 Joined: 4/10/2013 Status: offline I'm trying to make a custom label....how do I set print area parameters or import a template for the label I'm using? The company (Planetlabel.com) has good templates but I can't figure out how to use them with Printmaster. I also have an Avery compatible label that ISN'T listed in the Avery choices provided with Printmaster. Gap: x.xxx Vert. Gap: x.xxx As long as your measurements (x.xxx) are accurate, you can create a label template to match any label stock you buy. This program does not import other label templates. Many Avery labels have the exact same layout even though the stock numbers are different, so it's possible that an existing template will work with the Avery stock you have. < Message edited by ellengard -- 4/10/2013 1:10:09 PM > (in reply to beckytipton) Post #: 2

First, one label has an offset--the bottom margin is much larger than the top. Printmaster just split the difference and printed this label as if centered. Can I adjust this somehow? 2nd--after entering the dimensions of my label, Print master decided the label was oriented horizontally instead of vertically....guess I'll try to switch the width and height and see if I can fix that. I guess I would tape the label stock onto a letter size sheet, slightly down from the top of the sheet, so that you simulate equal top and bottom margins. (in reply to beckytipton) Post #: 4

Do you happen to know if Printmaster is planning to add more Avery choices anytime in the near future? This is a very nice size label and I have used it for lots of products.
