I followed the tutorial on how to print a single avery label by going to Edit > Convert to Full Avery Sheet. However, when I click on that link, the entire PrintMaster program jams and freezes. I have to go to control-alt-delete and start all over again. Why doesn't that link work as it does in the tutorial?

I am using PrintMaster 6.0 which is the newer version and it does not crash when converting a label project to full Avery sheet.

You are having a technical problem which could be due to a program bug or an incompatibility issue with your operating sytem (i.e. not compatible with Win 8) or some other technical issue. As far as how you are using the program, I can't advise you how to do it right because you are already doing it right.

Here is the link to tech support for PM2012:

I can devise a workaround solution that doesn't involve "Convert to Full Avery Sheet" if you are interested.

Hi, I received your email:

If you have a 'workaround solution' that would be great!...I cannot copy and
paste either.

Copy/paste works in PM 6.0, so if that was a bug in 2012, it got fixed in 6.0.

Workaround solution:
Open the Avery full sheet ready-made template that matches your stock. Add guides lines to block off the label position you want to print. Select all and delete (or cover the page with a white rectangle). Design your label within those guide lines.

If you can't find a full sheet ready-made template, then use a ruler to measure where your label is positioned on the stock. Add your corresponding guide lines to a new letterhead project (assuming your label stock is a sheet 8.5x11).
