All weekly calendar templates are from the ready-made gallery. They are meant to be edited. You keep the names of the week, just change the five numbers associated with them.

The Calendar button lets you add a mini month calendar to a corner of the page. You can see what date numbers goes with the week you are working on.

Ellengard, can you answer this?

I am trying to create a calendar with our family members' birthdays. Is there a way that I can enter their birthdate 1 time, and it will automatically get added to the following years? There are a lot of people and I don't want to have to add every birthday every year. I tried added people into the Address book, but didn't see how to add that info to the calendar.

Unfortunately, the calendar project in Print Shop does not have the ability to save your events so starting a new year means entering your events again.

Even the old Print Shop program versions 23 and older, could not do so. It is supposed to, but the algorithm was buggy.

There is a program, "Calendar Creator" http://www.broderbund.com/p-116-calendar-creator-deluxe-v121.aspx that does save all your events. As well, it has a lot more formatting features. The program calculates its calendars as far out into the future as you want and it repeats all your events for as many years as you tell it to. I use CC every year to print calendars for extended family, with everyone's birthdays and anniversaries. It even calculates and prints the person's age, if you turn that feature on.

Looks like it is on sale for half price right now, too!
