Unfortunately this program is not supported on Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 8.1 as it requires .Net Framework 1.1. There are currently no updates available as Microsoft is no longer supporting .Net Framework 1.1. If the purchase is within the time frame for a refund, please follow the Refund Policy instructions below. Purchases made directly with our company can return within 30 days. DVD purchases from a retail store, such as Best Buy, Sams, Office Max, Amazon, can return within 90 days of purchase date on receipt (downloads excluded). We will refund the program purchase price, minus any coupons used, and tax applied (excludes any shipping and handling charges).
We do have one possible solution that has limited results in getting Print Shop 23.1 to work on Windows 8.1.
Use the following steps to set the compatibility of the program to Windows 7 and run as administrator.
Right Click on the icon for the program.
Click on the compatibility tab
Put a check mark in “Run this program in compatibility mode”
Set compatibility to Windows 7
Click Apply and then OK.
Click on "Run as Administrator"
Click Apply and then OK
