Canasta - 7/23/2014 11:04:32 PM    Poser   Posts: 1 Joined: 7/23/2014 Status: offline I don't know who built this game but is he or she needs to be taught the rules or at least the strategy of this game. 1) When a partner picks up the discard deck with MANY cards in it, he/she should FIRST lay down all available cards on the table and ONLY THEN ask the partner "may I finish?" NOT first ask before the partner can add his/her cards to the pile. 2) After one of the partners puts cards down on the table, an opposing player SHOULD NOT discard a card which is now already on the table !!!! He/she should wait at least one round to see if the opposing player adds any cards. In nearly every game I played, the opposing player HELPS the other side to make a canasta, by discarding a card which is CLEARLY NEEDED by the opposite players, and already on the table.
