It's no doubt that the TV is a popular choice when it comes to using it as a computer monitor. But it's not the same as if you connected an actual computer monitor to your system. Not all flat screen televisions are created equally and if you connect your system through a blue VGA cable , you may run into compatibility issues such as your television saying it's out of scanning range, to the display not looking correctly on the screen. These are limitations of the TV you are using to connect to your system and are not a fault of the software. And you may find a higher compatibility rate if you connect your TV via an HDMI cable (if your system has this capability) In this case if you have compatibility issues check the TV manufacturer for PC connectivity drivers and always have the latest drivers for your video card.
