Need help troubleshooting - Calendar Creator Deluxe 12:... - 1/5/2016 10:02:39 AM    jbenitez   Posts: 2 Joined: 1/4/2016 Status: offline Hello Everyone The company I work for has recently gained a new floor and additional conference rooms to house meetings. We have created these new rooms under the categories with all of the old rooms. However, whenever we try to create an event under the any of the newer room categories and error message appears - "No matching properties found". After which it will not add the event. Creating events does work with older rooms set in the categories. I have checked the properties for the old room categories and the new ones and they all appear to be set by default settings. I have also checked online and I couldn't find anything on this error message. Can anyone tell me how I have resolve this issue? Post #: 1

I can't guess what's causing this, but I wonder if it has something to do with the names of the categories? Are the categories category names very long and very similar? You could experiment with short category names and see if that makes a difference. Another thing to try: Copy an event with a category that hasn't caused problems, and paste it in the same location. Then in the properties for the copied event, change the date to the next day. Next see if it allows you to change the category to one of the new categories. The names themselves are not very long, but they are somewhat similar in that the first few characters are the same and the last characters that define the room name/number are different. Example: Conf room D and Conf K I will test with different names and event copies to see if anything changes. (in reply to DEJenc3) Post #: 3
