Many games were designed for an older operating system and may not be compatible with Windows 10. Symptoms may include:
*Frequent game crashing
*No sound
*No video / distorted video
*The program will not even run.
While Windows 10 is not listed as a compatible operating system for many games, they may run on the system if the latest drivers for your computer are installed.
If the installation process of your game requires Direct X and Net Framework / Visual C Runtime to work, consider checking the Control Panel to see if they were installed.
This may require removing older versions of the components and allowing the installation media to install them for you.
Beyond this basic advice, if the game still does not work after performing these troubleshooting checks, then the game will not work under Windows 10.
