My program freezes for 1-2 minutes at a time. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to fix this issue?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Freezing for 1 to 2 minutes at a time? I've not seen that issue. What kind of computer are you running?

version 2008 runs best on Win XP, so you may have some compatibility issues if using Win 7 or later.

Freezing, but not crashing could indicate not enough available RAM. You can free up RAM by closing all other programs as well as any programs running in the background.

Thank you for your replies.

I don't have other programs open in the background when running the game.

This is the pc I'm using and there is sufficient RAM:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3,40 GHz 8GB RAM 64-bit Operating System

You did not mention the operating system you were running. Windows 7 , 8 , 10? Etc?

Hoyle 2008 was specifically designed to be more compatible going forward with Windows 7 as opposed to the 2007 series which worked with Vista / XP.

Version 2013 is compatible with win 7 and 8, but not 10. If running version 8 on win 10, there will be compatibility issues. Version 2008 is really quite old.

Did the freezing up start happening just recently? Has the program been running fine for the last 8 years?

Where did you purchase the program from? Have you submitted a ticket with our support department? If you have not already, please let me know and I'll communicate with you through the forum email system to setup a ticket in our system and see if we can get this resolved.

Check if Pizza Tower your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the game. If not, the game may be struggling to run properly.
