I am trying to create a multi-page booklet for my high school reunion. Does anyone have any experience with this type project?

I'd be more than happy to help you with this. A little bit more information about your project would be nice. How many pages are going to be in your booklet?

One thing to remember, not all printers are created equally. Since books require front to back printing for the pages, you may want to read this thread when creating your project:

It's possible to print to front and back depending on the printer you have but may need to go into your printer control panel to force this setting if PrintMaster won't do so. Click on File > Print Setup to adjust your options.

Yes, I have published many booklets up to 40 pages (10 sheets folded, double-sided printing, stapled in the center fold). Unfortunately, Printmaster cannot determine the proper page order for printing, so making a booklet in excess of 8 pages is really difficult to manually plan. When the program can't auto re-page for booklet printing, I would design newsletter-style (one page per sheet) then create a PDF of the project. Adobe reader can then print it as a booklet. It is one of the cool print options of Reader.

This works well when the PDF has embedded fonts. Printmaster cannot embed fonts when it saves as pdf. I haven't come across a PDF writer that works with Print Master to embed fonts either.

No embedded fonts means the text is converted to image. Not only does this make the words print somewhat blurry, it vastly increases the file size. Converting a multi-page project to PDF in Printmaster can crash the program because of this massive file size rendering.

Post back if you want alternative solutions.
