How do I change the resolution of a picture that I have imported from my photos into Print Shop Professional 4.0?

Unless your photo's resolution is TOO HIGH such that the file size is too big for the program to handle, do not reduce the resolution. High resolution will give you better print results.

If you must use a lower resolution, open your photo in MS Paint. In the Resize option, type in new pixel dimensions. Save this with a new name. Be careful not to overwrite your original high res file or it will be gone forever.

You can now import this lower resolution photo into The Print Shop

You can also open your photo in the program's Image Editor. There is a feature in there where you can give your photo new pixel dimensions. When I return home after the weekend, I can run the program and make a screen capture for you, unless you find what you need in the Image Editor in the meantime.
