I bought Printmaster V9 because my older vs quit working. My belief is that Microsoft updates (maybe Encore) killed a startup line in the software. To be clear, V9 is a total waste of money. I have used printmaster since the dot matrix days back in '80s. I used it constantly. Very disturbed when it quit working. I blamed in on windows 10. Now interestingly enough, I decided I might as well delete Platinum and get over it. I clicked on my bottom left start key, found Printmaster, and opened it up looking for an uninstall command. I clicked on the uninstall command and the computer asked me the normal "are you sure" questions. The software began looking for all the software program information to delete the program. Interesting enough, the opening screen came up and it began to load the program, just like before. Another window came up asking if I wanted to go forward with the deletion and I canceled. The printmaster program started right up without missing a beat. I could use it as if it was a new install. I had access to my old project files, I could edit, it would do it all. Now if some one could get into the code and locate the startup line that has been corrupted, maybe we all could go back to using an older vs like we used to. My printouts are perfected clear, not blurry, my old files were waiting on me to work myself into a tizzy. I am a new member of this forum and maybe other members found this work around before but hope someone reads this and it helps them.
