Prints too many copies - 10/27/2008 1:13:25 PM    apihringer   Posts: 1 Joined: 10/27/2008 Status: offline In a Windows Vista Home Premium system, when we tell PrintMaster 18 to print more than 1 copy, it actually prints more than we asked for. For example, we told it to print 5 copies of a 1-page brochure, and after the 8th copy we had to press the stop button on the printer. It is not a printer problem since no other program does this on this computer. Any help would be appreciated. Post #: 1

If you will read through the second page of that thread you will see where it has been proven that the problem you are experiencing is being caused by the fact that your printer is not 100% compatible with Vista. And, this is especially true for printers which say this about the Vista driver: "You might find that some of the advanced features are no longer available when using this basic driver. You can upgrade to a product that is fully compatible with Windows Vista if the advanced features are necessary." Since Broderbund programs require much more of printer drivers than do other programs, it often happens that a printer will work correctly with other programs but not with Broderbund programs. The normal fix for most problems is to go to the printer manufacturer's web site to download and install the most current driver for the Operating System.
