Hi

I have bought the Hoyle Puzzle & Board games yesterday and installed it and all that. All games are there except for Snakes & Ladders. In the book, it does not show that game anywhere but in the help feature on the program, it shows the How to play Snakes and Ladders part in there .

I can't seem to find the game but it doesn't seem like Snakes & Ladders is not even there even though the info about the game is in the help feature.

Hi Jay,

Snakes & Ladders is definitely missing from Hoyle Puzzle and Board Games 2008. Best guess is that somebody forgot to remove Snakes & Ladders from the manual when Snakes & Ladders was removed from the game.

p.s. oh I just saw that this message is from 2008

No worries, all games going forward are now known as Encore Classic.

I played this once as a kid and instantly hated it for its randomness and unfairness.

I'm not sure how the games were unfair HAHA.

Just a note on these games, I remember there was a secret in the casino games where you could get really rich in a hurry by increasing the speed of the game and playing a specific machine and you would eventually end up with lots and lots of money. I'm not sure if this glitch was revised in later versions of the Casino series but it was a fun little trick to experiment with.

Have you been a fan of the previous Casino games? I remember in one of the version of Hoyle Casino you could ask for Virtual Drinks from the bar, I think the same went for Hoyle Casino 3D.
