Elementary Adavantage 2011 - 4/23/2011 2:53:15 PM    Breerents   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/19/2011 Status: offline What is the reason for the Encyclopaedia Britannica portion of the software not launching? I am on another computer so I can't post the error message here. But it basically says "APPCRASH". The other parts of the software works fine. I'd hate to return this because its really helping my child in all the subjects. Is it not wise to just not use the Encyclopaedia? That wasn't really a selling point for me to purchase the software. However, the first time I tried to open it, I had to wait a couple of minutes before it opened. And, I discovered that if any windows are opened other than the Elementary Advantage window, Encyclopaedia Britannica might open behind those other windows. So, you'll want to always be sure to close all other programs before opening Elementary Advantage. If you are not able to successfully open Encyclopaedia Britannica after waiting a couple of minutes, I would advise you to uninstall Encyclopaedia Britannica, click on the link below http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=24103&mpage=1&key=%E5%B8%A7 then follow the directions in that FAQ for performing a computer cleanup.
