If your PrintMaster project is complex, for example:

  • several layered graphics
  • several text boxes and different fonts
  • many special effects:

    • shadows
    • transparencies
    • gradients
    • outlines, etc.

your printer driver may not be able to handle all this data. The result may be images cut off, everything misaligned or the wrong size.

SOLUTION

File> Export as .... choose PDF, highest quality settings.

Open the PDF in Adobe Reader. If anything is amiss, do not print, and you will have saved yourself ink and paper.

If everything is perfect, you can print your PDF.

In almost all cases, your printer will have no trouble printing this PDF because of how simple the print instructions are to your printer i.e. one flattened image per page

For any graphics program (not just PrintMaster) where the project is quite complex, creating a "flat" PDF version for printing is often the print solution.
