The user manual for Printshop 3.5 Deluxe says that there is a template for every Avery label currently available. I can't find them.

When I start a new label I am given the choice of 7 Avery labels. Unfortunately, the one I need is not one of the 7.

Can anyone tell me how to find the rest of the Avery label templates?

I see where the User Guide says, "We have added every Avery Template paper available at the time of the release of this program. If there isn't one in the program though you can make it yourself by following the instructions for Creating a Custom Paper Stock."

The seven you see cover a LOT of Avery label stock because so many of the labels are the exact same size and layout, even though they have different stock numbers.

e.g. these are all the same:
15160, 15510, 15660, 16460, 18160, 18260, 18660, 28660, 32660, 38260, 45160, 48160, 48260, 48360, 48460, 48860, 48960, 5160, 5260, 55160, 5520, 55260, 55360, 5620, 5630, 5660, 5810, 58160, 58260, 58660, 5960, 6240, 6241, 6970, 75160, 8160, 8250, 8460, 85560, 8620, 8660, 8810, 88560, 8860, 8920, 80509, 8215

So see if one of the seven shows the correct number, size and positioning of the label sheets you have. If none match, then you can create a custom label stock.

This is so not true. I had The Print Shop 23 which is ancient and it was so much better than 3.5. There are only 7 templates for labels and none of them are 2x4. The 2x3 doesn't make the label print correclty and that is the closest on that meager list
I am so unhappy about my $50 purchase. The sheet that comes in the label doesn't tell you how much of a margin there is on each side and in between the labels to fill out the custom label.
Any other advice????

Is it Avery 5163 that you have?

Try this:

It would help if you could take a ruler and measure the gap between the columns. I estimated 0.1 inch from a picture I saw on Avery.com, but if it's actually larger, I can recalculate the proper figures to use in the Custom Paper Stock window.

It is human nature for those of us who have used the "old" Print Shop, to forget how long it took to learn that program. We also forget all the difficulties we had, but we did... just look at how many questions there are in the forums. A person who starts out with v3.5 and then moves to 23.1 can feel exactly the opposite! See:
