Problem

While attempting to open a project file which was previously created with either PS 2.0 or PS 3.0, you receive an error message which says, "The file does not appear to be a TPS 2.0 or TPS 3.0 formatted project file."

Solution

This problem is caused by a Corrupted Print Shop database. Please download the file below, then run it on your computer. This will delete your Corrupted Print Shop database. Print Shop will then create a new database.

1. Download the file from here: http://s3.encore.com/support/Downloads/TPS%20Database%20removal.zip

2. Open the TPS Database removal.zip file by double-clicking on it

3. Double-click on the TPS Database removal.bat file

4. A black DOS screen will appears, which will instruct you to press any key. Press any key on your keyboard. This will remove the corrupt database and allow you to use the Print Shop.
