Error 1305: Error Reading from File - 12/27/2005 7:24:11 PM    Angela Hope   Posts: 1 Joined: 12/27/2005 Status: offline I am trying to install this program for the first time and keep getting an error reading: Error 1305 C\ProgramFiles\ScrapbookDesigner\Content\CK_EMBART>CDT I have fone every one of the suggestions that fix most problems on your tech support page but to no avail. Error reading from file" error message may occur if one of the following conditions is true: • There is a configuration issue with the CD-ROM drive. • The MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) is damaged or is not installed properly. • There is an issue with the CD-ROM media. For example, the program CD-ROM is damaged or dirty. Here's a link Error 1305. Error reading from file: to a Microsoft FAQ which describes several methods for resolving the Error 1305 problem. Even though that Microsoft FAQ is specifically for installing Windows, the Error 1305 problem can occur during any installation of any program.
