PM 18: Cannot Remove Hints Option - 7/31/2008 11:46:18 AM    Rollocop   Posts: 1 Joined: 7/31/2008 Status: offline I have a brand new copy of PrintMaster Platinum 18 which has been installed and have tried to remove the "helpful hints" feature in the General Options command. I remove all the checkmarks (and click OK) but when I start the program the next time, I get all the hints and the the checkmarks in the General Options Help have returned. This wouldn't normally be an issure except that I have to use voice recognition to access the program (I am paralyzed) and I cannot easily remove the hint that covers the hub screen by voice. RE: PM 18: Cannot Remove Hints Option - 7/31/2008 11:48:55 AM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi Craig, Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the 'Show Tooltips' hints or the 'Show Text Box Hints'. But, it is possible to remove the 'Show Helpful Hints' by deselecting that box on Tools | Options | Help, clicking on OK, then closing PrintMaster Platinum 18. If that doesn't work for you, it is possible that your installation is corrupt in some way.
