I am trying to prepare a simple calendar with daily times to be used for a volunteer schedule. The only times used are 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:00 PM. The program allows me to type in these times with a name following it. However, when I take the document to Print Preview, print it, do anything - even change the day of the week my cursor is in, the times' order changes to 1130, 1200, 800, 930. I have tried every option known to man, start/end times, various event listings, all one entry. I've looked at a number of help forums online and tried all of their suggestions and nothing seems to work. Please help. This calendar is distributed to elderly volunteers who already have enough difficulty reading the small font of the calendar. The disordered times confuses them. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from someone. Please let me know if I can help with more detailed specifics.

This is VERY curious poppydum.

As can be seen in the pinned item here

http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=42343&mpage=1&key=ꕧ

if Calendar Creator is set to sort 'By Time' and the time is selected in the Start Time box, all events in all views should be sorted by Time. However, my tests have shown that this is not the case with either CC 12 or CC 10.

So, that would indicate that your only option would be to sort each of the events by Priority, as is described in that same pinned item.

Hi poppydum,

After a little research, I discovered that the timed events will be displayed in the correct order only when 'Show Start Time' is selected on either the 'Add Event' or the 'Modify Event' window. However, since that will cause the Start Time to be shown next to the Event text in the day cell, that will cause Calendar Creator to reduce the font size even more. So, the best option might be to do as I suggested before - sort each of the events by Priority.

And, as to your problem with the small text, you might want to consider doing what I have done for many years - reduce the margins as much as possible then increase the size of the calendar to fill as much of the page as possible - as can be seen in the image below. The result will be larger day cells and slightly larger font size.

The only down side for you, however, might be if the unprintable margins for your printer are quite large. As can be seen in the image below, the unprintable margins for my Epson printer (and for most newer Epson printers) is 0.117" on all 4 sides of the paper - which is quite a bit smaller than the unprintable margin area for many brands of printers. However, if you are using a borderless printer, you could set up your calendars to print borderless.
