Is there a way to set the margins within a cell? In trying to cram more event info into each cell, there seems to be a default 1/4" inch. Can that be reset to 1/16"? Thanks.

Hi pattyde,

No, it is not possible to set the margins within a cell. And, that is due to the fact that Calendar Creator is not actually designed for text to be entered directly into a day cell.

Instead, Calendar Creator is designed for text to be placed in a day cell by one of these methods:

1. Double-click on a day cell - to open the 'Add Event' window. Type the text into the window, set the desired Repeat Rule, format the event as desired, then click on the 'OK' button to enter the event into the day cell. It is very important to keep in mind that Calendar Creator ALWAYS controls the size and the position of each event.

2. Click on 'Add' in the menu bar then select 'TEXT' in the menu that drops down. Click and drag to create the Text box. When the 'Text Object Properties' window opens, set the desired Repeat Rule, format the event as desired, then click on the 'OK' button to place the text box on the calendar. Size and position the text box as desired.

When the Add | Text option is used, it is possible to place text closer to the lines of a cell. However, since all text boxes have a white background, it is necessary to remove that background when portions of the text box overlap the lines of a day cell.

So, if you want to create a text box with a transparent background, you would do this on the 'Text Object Properties' window:

1. Click on the down arrow next to the 'Shading' box in the 'Background' section.

2. When the menu drops down, scroll to the top of the list, then select 'None'.
