Hello All,
Just recently I had to replace old computer that failed and now have new computer running Win 7 Pro 64bit.

The problem I'm having is that I have been using a very old version of Calendar Creator Plus Ver.1.0 for windows. but to my dismay I cannot seem to be able to re-install the software
on the new system, which means I can't get to the old calendars I have made.

But I do have the old files...and when I saved the old calendars I would save them as a workspace or a "CCW" file.

So I installed Calendar Creator Deluxe V12.1 but when I try to open this file it makes the program crash and wants me to close it.

Is there anyway that these "CCW" file be used or converted so it will work with CCD12?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks again

ken

Since the *.ccw files are workspace files and since the newer versions of Calendar Creator require you to create an individual workspace file for each Calendar Creator file, you will not be able to open your *.ccw files in the newer versions of Calendar Creator.

However, if you will click on the link below

http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=37205

you will see that you will be able to open the actual data files in the newer versions of Calendar Creator.

Your ccw file is a workspace file. Workspaces in v2 were made up of one or more event list files which have an extension of cce. I recently upgraded like you did and figure out that CCW files cannot be imported into v12, but the individual cce files can. Note that in v12, the concept of separate event lists does not exist. In it's place are categories. When you import you cce files, all of the events from your different cce files will all go into one big master event list, but you can then assign different categories to the individual events in your master list.

I am using Calendar Creator 1.02. It worked great until Windows 7. THe old version allowed me to creat a 24 X 36 multi-month calendar. The calendar was one large single calendar that we plotted for the office. I purchased V12 it builds a large multi month calendar as three seperate ten day sections. Is there anyway to recreate the large single calendar like the old version.

Were you creating this large calendar by using multiple sheets of office paper? If so, you might explore Page Setup in CC 12, and look at the Layout tab, ane experiment with Pages per Calendar. That might do what you want.

Do your multi-month calendar on standard size and print to PDF. Then open the PDF in Adobe Reader and use its print options to scale to 24x36.
