I just bought an HP Envy 5530. I have Print Shop Essentials Ver. 6. I only use it to make greeting cards. I tried to print one on my new computer and got no response except that it showed that it was spooling. After 10 minutes it still did not print. No error messages. I re-installed Print Shop to no avail. I have a PC, Windows 32 bit with Vista and use Chrome.

Is there any hope?

Print Shop Essentials Ver. 6 is a Win95 program. The printer driver for your new HP is incompatible with such an old program, in all likelihood.

The work-around would be to export your project as a PDF and print the PDF from Adobe Reader. You will require a PDF writer to create the PDF.

Another work-around would be to export each page as high-res JPG, then import each JPG to another graphics program in order to arrange the JPGs so they print as a greeting card.

I recall the really old versions of The Print Shop did not have the export as JPG feature, so this work-around may not be an option for you.
