Now I have a headache, but at least I have a color printout. Hi Jerry, I can confirm that what you saw was not a fluke. After confirming that I had the most current printer driver installed, I performed a test similar to yours: 1. Set the Printing Preferences for the default printer to grayscale 2. Started a PM 2011 project 3. Changed the printer's Properties in PM 2011 to Color 4. Brought up a Print Preview, which showed that the project would print in grayscale. Then, after I canceled the print job, I repeated the entire process a second time. When the 2nd print preview came up, I saw that the second print job would print in color. And, when I went to 'Devices and Printers' on my 64-bit version of Windows 7, then checked the Printing Preferences for the default printer, I saw that the default Printing Preferences had been changed from grayscale to color. And, I saw the same results with PM 2012.
