printing envelope problems - 12/21/2011 5:14:16 PM    boosie9   Posts: 1 Joined: 12/21/2011 Status: offline I am having a problem printing envelopes: I select 4 X 6 then design what I want, looks like a 4X6 on the screen then I hit print preview and I see a 8 1/2 X 11? I tried hitting print and changing the size to 4 X 6 and I am still getting a 8 1/2 X 11 print out. what am I doing wrong? Post #: 1

There is a bug in the Print Shop 3.0 program which makes it impossible to print many envelope projects correctly. When an envelope project will not print correctly, there is no workaround for that problem. And, I am also very sorry to have to tell you that even the 3.0.5 update, which has been repeatedly delayed for technical reasons, does not fix that problem. Please note that the Money-Back Guarantee for all versions of Print Shop 3.0 has been extended until December 31, 2011 - regardless of when Print Shop 3.0 was purchased. Please click on the link below http://support.encore.com/customerservice/refunds.aspx to view the Refund policy. Please also note that Customer Service is currently experiencing a backlog of Refund requests for downloaded versions of Print Shop 3.0. And, due to that backlog, users who request a refund of a download version will receive an Electronic Letter of Destruction Agreement in approximately a week or so. Please do keep in mind that Refund requests are ALWAYS answered in the order they are received. RE: printing envelope problems - 12/21/2011 7:38:07 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi again boosie9, I have just realized that I failed to make a few VERY important points about printing envelopes with Print Shop 3.0. 1. If the Paper Size for your default printer is set to 8.5" x 11", when you open an existing envelope project, that envelope will open as a #10 envelope. However, if the Paper Size for your default printer is set to something other than 8.5" x 11", an existing envelope *might* be opened as a different envelope size. So, before proceeding with your envelope design, it is very important to click on the 'Project' tab then make sure that the correct envelope size is selected in the 'Paper Stock' section. 2. When you select 'Print Preview', the envelope will often be displayed in Landscape orientation - from Left to Right - on a sheet of paper which is displayed in Portrait orientation - from top to bottom. 3. If you click on 'Print' on the 'Print Preview' window, the envelope will print exactly as it was displayed on the Print Preview. 4. If you click on 'Close' to close the Print Preview, then click on 'Print' on the 'Home' tab, the envelope will frequently print correctly.
