Print Shop v3.0's "Save As PDF" creates a PDF that is just an image. No fonts are embedded. The text will not be sharp because there is no text, only image pixels.

A PDF conversion program that CAN turn a v3.0 project into a PDF with embedded fonts is Corel PDF Fusion. (Can be purchased from Broderbund.com).

Another way to turn a v3.0 project into a PDF with embedded fonts, without having to purchase a more sophisticated PDF program, is to "Save As HTML". Open the html file in your browser and print the page using the CutePDF printer which is a free download from
www.cutePDF.com

The cutePDF printer cannot directly convert a v3.0 project into a PDF with embedded fonts. It can convert the web page into a PDF with embedded fonts.

If you use the cutePDF printer to directly convert a v3.0 project into a PDF, the result will be just an image with no embedded fonts.

The html method may not work for all project types. The more layers you have, the less likely this method will succeed, so...

... if you have several images, it may be necessary to replace them with just one JPG. i.e. do a separate project with just the images and save as JPEG.

Text boxes that are not layered over images will generate embedded fonts.
