Out of memory with 16GB in Windows 7 Pro

When my card is almost completed and I try to adjust the size of a headline or an imported art file, I will often get a “close down “ notice saying that there is not enough memory to complete this action. Often headlines will be blurred or suddenly disappear completely.

This happens with a machine with 16GB of memory and nothing else running, so I don't believe it is really out of memory. Support says it is a known issue but they sent me here for possible workarounds. Any suggestions?

Just checking... are you using 3.0 or 3.5? If 3.0, please download the update patch. This update contains additional fixes for memory handling in The Print Shop 3.0 and dramatically upgrades product stability and overall performance.

For pro version:

Help > About shows 3.0.5.0. Is that current for the 3.0 product?

Darn... 3.0.5 is the most current version.

If you have Deluxe version, go here to submit a support ticket. Make sure they understand that you have version 3.0.5 or else they'll tell you to install the patch.

I found this error when trying to work with this program. A work is around is to work on the project in parts - Work on certain parts - shut the program down (save your project of course). Then open it back up and add more elements - Shut it down once more and then open again - Eventually you will be able to print it.
