Just downloaded this software to my MacBook pro. Created a 7x5 invitation to be printed on 7x5 card stock. Couldn't get it to print. Printer is Canon mx870 pixma. OS Sierra is on Laptop. Canon says no driver needed for that software. I did print out a sample of the card on a 8x11 sheet of paper and it printed satisfactory but the printer is not recognizing that the project is an invitation to be printed on 7x5 size card stock. I contacted Canon and they say it's a Printmaster issue. Can anyone help with this? Thanks

I would check for the latest driver for Canon mx870 pixma/ OS Sierra configuration. If you are positive this is your current driver and it's truly a Printmaster issue, then the workaround is to save as PDF. Open the PDF in Adobe Reader and use its print options to print onto 7x5.

If that doesn't work, it means the problem is with Canon not being able to print onto 7x5, which could be fixed with the most current drivers for Canon mx870 pixma/ OS Sierra configuration.

Sorry, I mean EXPORT AS PDF.

Although I use PC, I also find that printing cards on letter size stock works great, but custom sizes are a major headache. I have to EXPORT AS PDF.

Thank you. I finally got it to work. The solution was the word "export". When I tried to print the "saved" copy from the print preview it was to large. The text would get partially cut off and no matter how I tried to reduce the size of the text it still cut it off. "Export" gave me the option to reduce the size of the entire file and that made it work. Thanks again!

I'm glad you are able to get the print you want. I don't know how different the Mac version is from the PC version, but I'm sure we both have access to the same graphics. I'm really impressed with the quality of the graphics. I've made postcards with them, exported as JPG, and got them professionally printed as 4x6 photos, sometimes as cheap as 10 cents each.

This version of PrintMaster was created by another developer than the ones who programmed the older versions. In this new version, you can only have one project open at a time.

Kind of a silly question but can you save your project as a PDF file and then attempt to print it outside the program? Does it print correctly after that?

Not sure what you are saying here. Are you trying to print an A4 size project? If so, did you create a custom size of 8.26 x 11.69?

I got my A4 project to print correctly, but I had to go to the More Settings tab and select Position: Custom, then make all the margins zero.
