Star Collector High Score GOOF! - 9/19/2018 9:09:44 PM    CarolBeth   Posts: 2 Joined: 9/19/2018 Status: offline Sigh. I just goofed. I LOVE the "Star Collector" game, and play it, saving the game when I have to quit, and carrying on. I just goofed and saved the wrong game. I had a score up in the millions, and have been continuing to play, very curious what will happen when I go over 999,999,999. But today I was tired, and saved the wrong game. Now I'm down to 5000. Sigh. Is there any way to revert to a former high score? Thanks, CarolBeth Post #: 1

I've never hit a high score that high in the game but Wow! Hats off to you for achieving gaming greatness. If you have overwritten a file, you won't be able to get it back. There may be a way to recover it. Windows keeps track of versions of files. If you right click it and select properties, you will find out what I mean on one of the tabs. This would be of course in the Hoyle game directory. I did what you said and had a look around...I couldn't really tell which file might be the scores to this game. Do you know? Also, I'm not sure how to use Windows to restore that.
