lines on notecards - 7/16/2007 9:21:19 AM    nyhank   Posts: 1 Joined: 7/16/2007 Status: offline I am using PM 17 with Win Vista, and when I print notecards, I get lines on the print. I am using an HP Photosmart C5180. When I print photos, there are no lines, only when I print from PM 17. What is wrong? Post #: 1

RE: lines on notecards - 7/16/2007 12:36:14 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi nyhank, Following is the text from a Broderbund Technical Note which discusses lines on the print: ********** When printing a project using PrintMaster® 17, horizontal lines appear on the printed text or graphics or both. A print setting typically causes this issue. Changing the print setting within the program will help resolve the issue. The procedure is described in this note. Complete these steps to change the print setting within PrintMaster® 17. 1. Start the PrintMaster® program and open or create a project. 2. Click File on the main menu and select Print. The print window will open. 3. Click the Advanced button. The Advanced Settings window will open. 4. If Print as Bitmap is checked, remove the checkmark. If Print as Bitmap is unchecked, then place a checkmark next to it. 5. After changing the setting, click OK. 6. Try printing the project again. Note: Whether the Print as Bitmap feature is enabled or not depends on the compatibility of a particular printer with the program.
