Application Load Time - 7/21/2005 8:39:11 PM    bcdobbs Posts: 17 Joined: 7/1/2005 Status: offline I upgraded my system from Windows ME to Windows XP Home a couple of months ago. Since them the Hoyle games take several minutes to launch instead of a few seconds like they use to. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Post #: 1

Then try using the program. Generally this helps speed up programs that are running poorly. Give it a try. (in reply to bcdobbs) Post #: 2

Since I did not want to try to remember to restart the virus software each time, I checked with my software vendor and found out I could put in an exception for the Hoyle games so they would not be scanned, and now everything is okay.
