I am trying to import a .dbf file for my address book in PM18. it's just not accepting .dbf files...AM I REALLY GOING TO HAVE TO RETYPE THIS WHOLE DATABASE OF ADDRESSES................

I am not familiar with a .dbf file. Was it created in an earlier version of PrintMaster? If so, perhaps this post will help:

Alternatively, open the file in the program it was created in. Export as .txt or .csv - these file formats can be imported into most Address Books, including PrintMaster 18.

FYI and FWIW...

If you do not have access to the old version of the program OR they do not have an option to export as TXT or CSV AND you have access to Microsoft Excel you can use that program to import the .dbf file and then export to those other formats, too...
