adding a bleed margin to brochures - 8/8/2011 8:41:36 AM    GJohnson   Posts: 1 Joined: 8/8/2011 Status: offline The professional printer I use always asks me to make a .25 bleed margin so they can crop pages for full color. How do I do it on 23 or 23.1? Thanks so much for your help Post #: 1

RE: adding a bleed margin to brochures - 8/8/2011 9:32:07 AM    ellengard Posts: 3253 Joined: 10/2/2006 Status: offline In the Print Setup, select the PDF printer. Change the paper size to height: 9, width 11.5. Design your brochure past the edges, keeping in mind that .25 inch on all four sides will be cut off. Print (or save) to PDF. This assumes, a landscape brochure of finished size, 11x8.5 and that you meant a .25 bleed on all four sides. (in reply to GJohnson) Post #: 2
