Even though PS 3.0 can be successfully installed on the same computer with PS 2.0, doing so can cause the following error messages to be generated:

"The file does not appear to be a TPS 2.0 or TPS 3.0 formatted project file"

"The Program cannot read from the database"

Or, the computer might instruct you to open PS 3.0 files in PS 2.0.

In either case, the Print Shop database will be corrupted.

The solution to this problem is described below.

1. Download the file from here: http://s3.encore.com/support/Downloads/TPS%20Database%20removal.zip

2. Open the TPS Database removal.zip file by double-clicking on it

3. Double-click on the TPS Database removal.bat file

4. A black DOS screen will appears, which will instruct you to press any key. Press any key on your keyboard. This will remove the corrupt database. The next time you open Print Shop 3.0, a new database will be created.
