I am trying to make a sign and I cannot find how to make a cents sign. I DO NOT like the clip art ones. I want just a simple black and white normal looking cents sign I have tried the ALT 0162 & Alt. 0176 and they do NOT work? I find this 3.0 miserably hard to use. As a teacher I used the old Print Shop for yrs. and never had any problems. This is NOT USER FRIENDLY. They even make getting on this forum difficult.

Hi Jgrossk,

First, it is very important to keep in mind that Print Shop 3.0 is not a true upgrade of any previous version of Print Shop. Instead, Print Shop 3.0 is a completely redesigned product which works in an entirely different manner than all earlier versions of Print Shop - even Print Shop 2.0.

If you ever decide that Print Shop 3.0 does not suit your needs, you will most definitely want to keep in mind that if you purchased Print Shop 3.0 from a retail store within the last 90 days or from broderbund.com or encore.com within the last 30 days, you are eligible for a refund - even after the software has been opened and installed.

Please click on the link below

http://support.encore.com/customerservice/refunds.aspx

to check out the Refund Policy.

And, you will also want to keep in mind, as can be seen here

http://forums.encoreusa.com/tt.asp?forumid=249&p=4&tmode=10&smode=1

Print Shop 23.1 and 22 can be successfully installed on even a 64-bit version of Windows 7.

As to your problem with the Cents symbol, you could use the Character Map - as is described here

http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/international/accents/charmap.html

to Copy/Paste the Cents symbol into your Print Shop 3.0 project.

Or, you could just open another program that will allow you to use the ALT 0162 key press to create a Cents symbol, then Copy/Paste that symbol into your Print Shop 3.0 project.

Does this copy/paste for you?

¢

A workaround is the letter 'c' with a line through it.
