I have Printmaster Gold 17 software and was able to print images on the quarter fold cards to whatever size I deemed appropriate. Now when I open that format there is a pre-positioned doted lined box which will not allow me to print any larger than that size. My question is how do I eliminate that specific size and enlarge the print image to a larger size.

That dotted line is your printer's default margin. Change your printer settings to minimize the margin. It could also be that your printer driver is no longer the most current for your operating system. Check your printer manufacturer's website and download/install the appropriate driver.
